Baking Classes – What the students say


We run a series of one day baking classes during the Autumn and Winter months.

“My mum and I had such a wonderful day with Dervla yesterday, learning the beautiful art of making white yeast breads… Not just her teaching, but her way with people and the feeling of ease you have there, it’s just a really special place. She looked after us so incredibly well, with an amazing lunch, and homemade scones and donuts with teas and coffees. Proper loose tea mind, in proper china cups! You feel so valued here. You are a true gem Dervla, it’s no wonder your business with swimming in warm fuzzy wonderful success.. Well done you, and thank you again. “I attended the ‘Introduction to Yeast Breads’ class with Dervla which was great value and I have to say the most enjoyable day ever! From the initial welcome into a beautiful bright and spacious work area, with tea/coffee and homemade scones awaiting our arrival right through to the whole learning experience on how to make absolutely delicious Focaccia, White Bread and Party Brot with fresh yeast which is something I had never used before.  We were treated to a fabulous lunch of delicious homemade soups, bread, salad and sweet treats and I met some lovely people.  I have baked the three breads for my family numerous times at home and the recipes work every time!  Thank you Dervla for a fantastic learning experience, I can’t wait for the next class.”
